Sardine Earrings
Here they are- the original, viral Sardine stud earrings! First crafted in 2023, we've sold thousands of pairs of these designs and they've inspired a whole genre of fish jewelry.
Crafted in ancient metals, these earrings are available in bronze, silver, and 10K gold. Bronze is the most affordable option- being the most durable metal of the three and giving off a beautiful golden hue. These Bronze earrings are sealed to slow tarnishing, but are best sold with a polishing cloth (included with your order). The silver and 10K gold are your allergy-free, tarnish-free options for higher-end and luxury clients and customers.
Weighing in between 7 grams (bronze) and 9.5 grams (10K gold), these are deceptively lightweight for their size. Each Sardine is 2.25 inches in length, and .5 inches width at the widest part. They hang asymmetrically from the ears, adding to the whimsy of the wearer's experience.
Available via preorder- please allow 8-12 weeks processing time.

Jewelry Care
Caring for Your Jewelry
Our pieces are made to be worn often and kept for years to come. As they accompany you through life, you’ll notice changes—scratches, marks, and natural tarnishing may appear. Rather than seeing these as imperfections, we view them as part of the story the jewelry tells—a visual reminder of the moments it's lived through with you.
Because we use raw, uncoated metals, they are free to shift and react to the world around them. This is intentional. These materials are organic by nature, and like all natural things, they evolve over time. Below are some tips to help you care for your jewelry while appreciating the character it develops.
Sterling Silver
Silver reacts to air and moisture, which may lead to a darker tone over time. Ironically, one of the best ways to keep it bright is to wear it—the oils in your skin help protect the surface. If you're storing it for a while, keep it sealed in an airtight bag or container. To remove tarnish, a silver polishing cloth usually works well. For heavier discoloration, use steel wool.
Yellow Bronze
Bronze contains a high level of copper, so it naturally darkens as it’s exposed to moisture and humidity. For some, it may also leave a greenish tint on the skin, especially if your skin has a more acidic pH. This is safe and temporary—similar to what gives the Statue of Liberty its green hue. To slow the aging of bronze:
Avoid water exposure.
Dry thoroughly if it gets wet.
In humid conditions, store in a sealed bag with a piece of chalk or moisture-absorbing packet.
To bring back its shine, we recommend using Brasso. A more unconventional but effective trick is soaking the piece in ketchup—the natural acids help lift oxidation gently. You can also use the Sunshine brand polishing cloth that’s included with your order.
We encourage you to let your jewelry age gracefully. Each mark and change is part of what makes it yours—personal, worn-in, and well-loved.
