Sardines Earrings

from $115.00

Here they are- the original, viral Sardine stud earrings! First crafted in 2023, we've sold thousands of pairs of these designs and they've inspired a whole genre of fish jewelry.

Crafted in ancient metals, these earrings are available in bronze, silver, and 10K gold. Bronze is the most affordable option- being the most durable metal of the three and giving off a beautiful golden hue. These Bronze earrings are sealed to slow tarnishing, but are best sold with a polishing cloth (included with your order). The silver and 10K gold are your allergy-free, tarnish-free options for higher-end and luxury clients and customers.

Weighing in between 7 grams (bronze) and 9.5 grams (10K gold), these are deceptively lightweight for their size. Each Sardine is 2.25 inches in length, and .5 inches width at the widest part. They hang asymmetrically from the ears, adding to the whimsy of the wearer's experience.

Available via preorder- please allow 8-12 weeks processing time.

Jewelry Care

At Warm House Designs, we believe our jewelry is made to be worn every day and to last a lifetime. As with anything loved and well-worn, nicks, scratches, and natural tarnishing might happen—it's just part of the journey. These marks become a part of the piece's story, a sign of how you've embraced it. Over time, your jewelry will develop a unique patina. Many of our customers adore the depth this brings to the metal, but we totally understand if you prefer to keep it shiny and new. Here are some tips to keep your pieces looking beautiful:

Our metals are naturally sourced from the earth, without any plated coatings or protective layers. This means they will react to the environment over time, but rather than being a flaw, it adds to the character of each piece.

Sterling Silver: Tarnishing happens when silver reacts with the air. The best way to prevent tarnish is simple—wear it! The oils from your skin help protect the silver from darkening. When you’re not wearing your silver, store it in an airtight container. If tarnish does appear, just give it a polish with a cloth, or for stubborn tarnish, try Wright’s Silver polish.

Yellow Brass: The high copper content in brass causes it to darken over time, especially when exposed to water or humidity. Depending on your skin’s pH balance, you might even notice a greenish hue where it touches your skin. Don’t worry—it’s perfectly safe. To keep your brass shiny, avoid exposure to moisture—don’t swim in it, and dry it off after washing your hands. In humid places, store your brass in an airtight container or bag with a piece of chalk to absorb excess moisture. If you want to bring back the shine, a little Brasso or even a soak in ketchup will work wonders.

Love your jewelry, wear it, and let it tell its story.
