Felicia Willow

Designer, metalsmith, stylist, curator & kittie savior with a passion for beautiful things that tell a story. I am a one woman operation specializing in custom, limited-edition and one-of-kind jewelry, hand-painted-hats, clothing & home adornments, handmade with love in my Missoula, Montana studio. I harmonize the old & the new by incorporating unique vintage components ranging from the 1930's-1970's into some of my finished designs. I moved to the east coast as a young adult & attended North Bennet Street School for Fine-Jewelry-Making. Next, I ventured west to California where much of my work was inspired by the colors & textures of desert landscapes. My enthusiasm for design is ever evolving & began in childhood. My other love is animal rescue. 5% of all sales benefit Kittie Komittee rescue efforts.

Metal Info:

Gold fill, also known as “rolled gold” is 14k or 18k gold with a thin core of base metal. It has 100 times more gold than gold plated. Unlike “gold plated’, which is merely a thin layer of gold coating over base metal, gold fill will not chip, flake off or tarnish. When properly cared for, your skin will never come into contact with the small amount of base metal at the core.

Over time, brass will develop a weathered look known as a “Patina” which adds to its character & beauty. If you prefer to keep it brighter, use a soft polishing cloth. I put a light brushed finish on my brass to give it a softer, semi-matte look.
